Donuts are my kryptonite, so I have to exercise great care in making sure going here is only a treat and not a habit! This tiny little shop, when you walk in smells like heavenly fried dough, and if there was perfume that mirrored that smell I'd slather it all over my body. I really only wanted one -- ONE -- maple bar. Just a simple maple bar. But, as I stood in the increasingly growing line at 9:00 p.m. on a Tuesday night, I had too much time to contemplate the many decadent offerings in the case before me and next thing you know I'm asking for a 6 pack with wild abandon. I stuck to my guns and only ate one, and took the rest of the box home to the kiddos. But that one donut was fresh, yeasty, glazed to perfection and simply perfect. The staff was friendly, the customers patient, and the line moved pretty fast considering the small space they have to work with and maneuver around in. Definitely a gem in Summerlin, but too close for comfort for me and my donut addiction. That's the only downside I have!
