The GVL is a great place for locals to visit. My favorite parts are the rare-book sales located in the glass cabinets, the frequent used-book sales and the artwork lining the walls leading to the computer lab. In the back, one can find public announcements including some open employment positions and their long-needed renovated bathrooms. The used books are random and varied. They are priced very reasonably since they are rare and hard to find items. The most recent one I coveted was a book written by one of Freud's family members. The other scores are issues of National Geographic being sold for less than a buck. One I picked up was from the early 80's and outlined the development of Silicon Valley up to that period. Fascinating. If you get a chance to visit the tin-can robot across from the bathrooms, I highly suggest it. I believe Kevin is the manager and should be able to help with any needs. Great place for hosting meetings. Our group has been going there for nearly five years.
