If you are looking simply to hookah while catching up with friends, I'd recommend Insomniac. Other hookah places blare their music so loud you can't even talk to one another.
Very mellow/laid back place on a Saturday night. Owner was welcoming, and his employees were very nice, occasionally checking up on us to make sure we were okay.
Only $12 for hookah, and $6 for refill. The awesome employees are always making sure coals are fresh so you won't have to refill. About 30 flavor choices - nothing fancy - but I'm not picky. No food served here, just juices, alcohol, and fruit.
Love the simplicity of this place. I would come back and bring friends here.
