When we lived in El Paso, TX, we loved Albertsons. The stores in TX have amazing sales, competitive prices, fresh hand-made corn tortillas/chips, a wide selection of meats/veggies, and they even roast peppers daily, which make amazing snacks or can be used to make chile rellenos. The branch in AZ was dissapointing. Not only did it not have any of the things that we loved about the Albertsons in our old stomping grounds, but the prices were outrageous. Half way through our shopping trip, I decided to return the items to their rack, place the shopping basket at the door, and go to Walmart up the street.
