Recess Italian Ice and Desserts has a lot of cute desserts worthy of Instagram. I ordered the ube and green tea swirl in the vanilla bear cone. I chose to add rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips, and condensed milk. Any and all toppings are included with the price of the ice cream or Italian ice. And, they had a good number of toppings to choose from. The condensed milk made the soft serve melt faster than I expected, so I couldn't get any cute pictures. However, it tasted great! The bear cone was surprisingly good. The bottom of it was like cake - not sure if that's what it actually is or not. Tasty though! They also had milk tea. So, I had to try it. It wasn't the greatest. Not like the specialty tea places, but it was still tasty for it not being their primary item. The guy that helped us was very nice. He allowed us to try samples of the different flavors. My only complaint was that he explained that ube was taro, which is incorrect. Ube is purple yam - two different things, although similar. He quickly made us our desserts. Overall, it was a good experience. The desserts were tasty. Aesthetics and mood were great. If I am ever near-by, I'll probably stop by again.
