DO NOT MOVE INTO AVERY VILLAS! NO MATTER WHAT! Let me first start by saying I never write reviews and if I do, they are always good reviews but I feel it's important for others to know about the horrors of this property! I had a 10 month lease here and I couldn't wait to get out after the second month! The office staff are completely rude and maintenance is horrible. I had to call multiple times to get somebody to come down to my apartment and our plumbing was down every couple weeks (at least once a month). The neighbors are dirty, loud and nobody cleans up after their dogs. Property management left a dead pigeon in the grass patch for over two weeks after they were aware of it which is disgusting! There were two shootings right outside the complex within the last four months and there are drug dealers living there. The pools are always dirty and there are always ants around from people leaving their food. Not to mention they had the pools closed half of our lease so we weren't even able to use them if we wanted too. The computer desk in the office also has ants crawling all over it. They are way over priced and only get away with it for being in the summerlin area. A month before our lease was up we went down to the office and told them we didn't want to renew it and asked if there was anything we needed to do and the lady with curly long dark brown hair told us no. But once we moved out they had tried to charge us with an extra months rent plus utilities!! Needless to say this place is truly disgusting from the grounds to the office staff. I am truly embarrassed to say I had lived there. Do not move into Avery Villas! You might as well go downtown and live off MLK and D Street. I would give them negative stars if possible!
