The panic set in last night when the news announced that gas prices were forecast to go up $0.13 /L. On a 50 L tank that's $6.50, so a pretty hefty increase. As always, this created a panic! My tank was about half full, but i figured if there was a better time to get it, it would be now. This gas station is new,it opened not more than a week or two ago (they are giving out free coffee, so get it while you can). At the intersection of Hwy 7 and Kennedy there's a Petro on the North-East side, this new petro is on the South West corner. Not only was it less busy (i didn't even have to wait for a pump, the other petro the line up was out the door), but the pumps were much further apart, allowing ample back in/back out time (three cars could fit in width wise). The pumps also seemed to go much faster and smoother. There's a pretty big convenient type store where you go pay for your gas, though I didn't enter. I'm quite happy with this new gas station, it looks like I'll be support the South -West Petro from now on!
