I've been coming here since I was a small child with my family. My grandmother is originally from Lebanon and she and my parents insist on coming here for meat pies, as well as some other tasty treats. If I remember correctly, they used to have a small grocery type area with little treats. My favourite were the candy coated chickpeas and jordan almonds of course ;) Meat pies are nice and crisp and hot when you first get them. They aren't as good when they are old, and tend to get a rubbery texture. But fear not, the only time I've eaten an old meat pie from this place, is when I order two for myself and I save one the next day! Their pita is delicious and we enjoy it with many of my grandmother's traditional dishes. The lady at the front can be gruff, but she means well. If you don't know how to order fast/properly you'll probably get a look or two. I personally always order my meat pies traditional (meaning that there isn't cheese or veggies) but I bet that would also be tasty. I'll always be back for more when the craving hits.
