Appearances can be deceiving. Best Buy looks great with all its displays and service clerks everywhere, however Best Buy didn't have much to offer in the affordable price range of the product I wanted. I went to Best Buy, my gold standard for technology and specialty items. I was in search of a microphone to fit with headphones that I purchased for my son.
I asked for help and the guy upfront introduced me to another service clerk. Best Buy did not have any microphones that were compatible with the headphones. They had only had USB stand alone microphone for $19.95 (which I ended up buying). The other microphones were all in the range of $150+. This was also the case for the headphones/mic combinations available.
I was disappointed that I could not find what I wanted. I bought the $20 option, but I think I will shop online.
