Compared to the other cafes on the street (Lili & Oli, Toi Moi & Cafe), Mamie Clafoutis feels somewhat outdated. Even at 9am, the chocolatine I had was too dense and seemed a bit stale, and the mocha latte was pretty flavorless. The interior of the cafe looked more like an uninspired chain restaurant than the kind of small cafe you'd except to see in a young neighborhood like Little Burgundy. My waitress was also somewhat rude when I asked for a distinction between two pastries. I suggest trying somewhere else on Notre-Dame instead for better ambiance and food, and friendlier baristas!
