A large place great for dessert with a group of friends. The decor is very cute - chocolate-coloured seating with a red accent that is matched by floppy chocolatier hats worn by all the waiters. The front of the shop had a variety of truffles, pralines, and hot chocolate powders for purchase. The menu has a variety of hot or cold chocolate drinks, crepes, waffles, other desserts, and even savoury crepes and salads for a fuller meal. Alcoholic chocolate drink varieties are also available with the order of a crepe or salad. My friends and I ordered different vintage hot chocolates, which were advertised to have different flavour notes similar to how one describes wine. Comparing the ones we had at the table, we were able to identify some of the flavours which was interesting. The hot chocolates are served in glasses with a spoon, are very thick, and not piping hot-more a ready-to-drink temperature. The small size was already very filling for a post-dinner treat. The qualité/prix was as expected for a dessert place, and the variety drew me in to revisit and try different chocolates. I would return, but likely only on occasion.
