Came in to replace all the appliances in my new build with Thermador. When I walked in both salesman were on the phone and I started walking around looking. When one of them got off the phone he asked if I've been helped and I said "no". The other sales guy (Ray) yells out "yes" while he's on the phone with someone else in an apparent attempt to secure his commission off me. I then was left alone with no help. When the guy was off the phone he came over to help me. He knew absolutely nothing about Thermador and was giving me wrong information. I had Thermador in my previous kitchen and knew much more about it than him. The problem is rather than him educating himself he would just spew out incorrect information and acted like he knew. When it came time to get pricing he opened up a book and started giving me prices. I questioned the pictures saying that doesn't look like what I want and he blew me off saying it's new models. Finally the other sales guy came over and told him he was looking at the wrong brand! Ray still wanted to act like he knows everything and wouldn't listen to me and what I wanted. The other salesman was great and he was knowledgeable. He listened to me and answered my questions correctly. He gave me correct pricing as well. Ray kept butting in and making the process painful. He also said he would find out the answers to my questions and call me. It has been over a week and I never heard from him. I refuse to spend $10,000 dealing with this guy. And, I don't like that he disrespected my time by making me wait for him to get off the phone when I should have been helped by the first available employee. I feel like I will have to go somewhere else to avoid this guy because he will want my commission even though he did absolutely nothing but make me wait, then give me wrong information, and never followed up. I don't trust him with my purchase at all! I should have been working with the FIRST salesperson that asked to help me. Spencer's is losing my business due to this guy. Truly unfortunate because I liked the other sales guy that approached me first. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful.
