I originally received a quote for my compressor for $2,350. That is a lot for a compressor. My Freon is the old r22. I called perfect air out and to give me a free 2nd opinion. They confirmed that the compressor was bad but they actually showed me why. They didn't just tell me and get offended when I tried enquiring about it. So, once I accepted the fact that I needed a new compressor I received a quote for $1,725.00 from perfect air!! That is like almost $600 in savings. I know that each compressor for each unit is different in price. I am glad that I was able to save hundreds when it was apples to apples. They changed out my compressor in a few hours. I guess people should always get a 2nd opinion. No reason waste money, even though it was a hassle having to wait in the heat to check prices. lol. Doesn't hurt..... now my place is cool again. thank god....
