Called for an appointment for my pregnant wife and myself to get routine cleanings. Appointments were made for later the same day. We showed up early and were put right into the chairs. All good so fair. X-rays and oral pictures done. The dentist eventually shows up and goes immediately into an up sell pitch for a deep cleaning. Yaddah yaddah yaddah. I am a salesmen for a living and know the pitch. I have no problems with my teeth, I just need and want to have a normal cleaning. After the dentist leaves the receptionist comes over to tell me my dental insurance is inadequate and I would need to pay for the $400 deep cleaning. I tell her I am uninterested in the deep cleaning and just want a normal cleaning which my insurance covered in the past. She tells me she would have to check with the dentist to see if he would even consider that because I needed a deep cleaning so bad. As she is walking off I can hear the dentist talking to my wife, giving her the same up sell but including stuff about how the health of the baby could be affected by her gum infection (which she doesn't have). At this point I had enough, grabbed my wife and we left. I see a lot of reviewers love this place. Great for them. But if you are just going in for a routine teeth cleaning be ready for the up sale to a $400 cleaning.
