"We're so trendy we can't even escape ourselves." ? Kurt Cobain A group of eight of us participated in the X-Child storyline. Having never done an escape room before, I was pretty nervous. Am I gonna be kicked off the rhetorical island for being the weakest link? Oh well. I paid $30-something and signed the waiver so let's do this! We first watched a short video giving us the backstory as to why we were escaping. After splitting us into two groups of four, we were led into two separate rooms. We eventually met up and beat the game! We escaped with 8 mins and 27 seconds still on the clock. Not bad considering this was the first escape room for half of the group! All in all, it's an interesting thing to do and it really forces the lines of communication and teamwork. It was challenging, fun, and a little frustrating but you take all that out by turning some rooms upside down. ;)
