I have a 2005 Subaru Outback and live in Charlotte. I've gone to the dealer on South Blvd and had so so service, nothing great on price, takes a while, hidden fees on bill, and a real sales vibe. I found Tindol because I needed a tune-up and everywhere quoted me $400 plus. My boyfriend didn't believe me so he called about 6 places.... 400 HUNDRED plus! Supposedly the Iridium plugs are expensive and it's a 4-5 hour labor project with where the plugs are... all the fancy stuff you find out about your car after you buy it! Well Tindol quoted us $130-175! We were in shock simply because the hour and labor quotes were so very different but went with them because we figured we had nothing to lose.
We were given a loaner car firstly. This was great because the car did in fact take many hours to do because the engine has to be cooled down to get to the plugs. Saved us because we live in Charlotte. Got the bill and it was $118!! They had applied a $50 coupon without us evening knowing about the coupon, so so nice!
I have nothing bad to say about the place, only good! Give it a try... it's worth the drive :)
