This California-based BBQ chain is very good, but not the best in Vegas. Go to Memphis Championship BBQ for that. Lucille's excels where their competition does not in that it has an excellent outdoor dining area, a live band, good bar scene, and lively ambiance. Their food is dynamic and overall good, but the one drawback is that it lacks BBQ authenticity and identity. For example, there are three BBQ sauces to choose from: Texas, Memphis, and Spicy House Blend. Don't get me wrong, Lucille's should be on your list of spots to go in Vegas, but expect more of your typical commercialized BBQ chain fare California style than a rustic, authentic spot in Memphis or Texas.
