This is my second year running the half marathon and I foresee a possible third year considering the very affordable early-bird registration fee. Due to security reasons the course slightly changed, but for the better. I actually prefer the starting line from New York-New York rather than MGM Grand. Also, the turn around point was a smaller loop off the strip compared to last year. Overall it was a well organized event. Met several people from other countries. I felt the camaraderie towards all the runners. The crowd was very supportive (more high-fives than you can shake a stick at). Who can forget the post race snacks and beer/chocolate milk/Gatorade! Can I suggest you hand out bags from all the swag? Not sure if you're allowed back after gear check. Also, no mylar blankets? Did not do the VIP experience this year. I didnt really benefit off it last year to be honest. Only perk was I had front row to Snoop :D The post race food was just alright.
