I went in for a manicure and gel pedicure. I was told not to come in until a certain time, and I showed up a little early thinking they'd be busy. There were a couple of workers. One doing her nails the other on the computer. The interactions from start to ending felt rushed to me and "short". Now, I am not a chatty person at all. I wanted to just relax. the chairs were ok. The water was not hot, (barely warm) and not even full yet when i was told to sit down and put my feet in. I felt like everything went quickly while the 2 girls chatted that worked there. My toenails could have been cut cleaner, and the polish put on better. I am NOT a picky person. Ive only had a few pedicures in my life, and this wasnt one of the best. I could tell they didnt use top coats strong enough and like some places. I went in a few weeks ago, and ive had a very painful ingrown toenail every since. One of my toe nails polish came off the first day. As for the "gel manicure" that supposibly lasts weeks to a month..... it started chipping off after not even 2 weeks. This was my first gel manicure, so I was dissappointed. The conversation and situation was akward as the woman helping me was cleaning the stations by dumping bleach in them in between giving me my manicure. The smell of bleach (i understand they use it to clean...) wasnt very "relaxing". I was offered a water, and she did at least attempt small talk. Very unlikely I would return.
