We were looking all over for this place. So, for those who expect to see it from the street? The shop is in the back lot.
I have the pesky PTSD, so i couldn't go in that morning? But my husband went in for a cup of coffee, and came out with something extra to help me start my day.
What i thought would be an ordinary "bagel and cream cheese" - wound up being a gourmet, epicurean delight.
I opened the container, and there were two open face, toasted bagels topped with just the right amount of cream cheese, with sun-dried tomatoes, pickled onions thinly sliced, covered with fresh spinach that were lightly spritzed with a tasty vinaigrette.
I am a pre-diabetic, but thanks to the cook at Maverick Coffee, i absolutely forgot all about this vile pathology, and gleefully ate my meal with no repercussions.
My husband said his coffee, was served hot, and "pretty good".. which meant, it passed the "coffee snob" test.
Another great coffee house to definitely head over to, at the crack of dawn.
