We've been meaning to try Don Jose's for a while now and finally did today.
We both had combination plates and enjoyed all the different items that came out. Everything was served piping hot and was very tasty. They make a "Hot" version of their salsa which was very fresh and spicy, definitely ask for it!
The service here is outstanding! I never once waited for water; and as I said, the salsa was spicy! The servers were on top of everything from taking our drink order as soon as we sat down. to ordering as soon as we were ready, to topping off our drinks continuously and often.
The building is funky and reminded me of an Swiss lodge or an old Weinerschnitzel building.
