I am no deep dish pizza connoisseur, but I know when it tastes good, and this place has some tasty deep dish pizza. We've come twice with Groupons and it is such a steal!! The salads are a miss with generic iceberg, tomatoes, and little else I remember with a choice of garlic or ranch dressing. It is more like ranch with a side of lettuce than vice versa since it is too thick to drizzle. Moving on, the pizza is the star of the show!! We ordered the deep dish with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and onion and boy do they pile it on! Every bite has plenty of toppings and a very crispy crust on the bottom. I don't even know how this is possible when so many NY style pizza places can't even manage to keep their crusts crispy with minimal toppings. I think this pizza may be the 8th world wonder. The cheese used is amazing. It stretches and stretches. I bet it could reach the length of the table. Last time we were here on a Tuesday, and they had 50 cent wings. The wings here are always plain and come with various sauces to dip. They are legitimate, crispy, fried to perfection wings. After our order of 8, I really contemplated getting another batch because they were great, but had to remind myself that we still had that beast of a pizza coming. Lastly, we finished off with some cannolis. Even though it looks like they're already prepared and sitting in a fridge, the shells remain crispy. This place should be called No Sog Pizzeria, because nothing here is soggy. Eveything is crispy and perfect, just the way it should be!
