I'll speak in general first: I am currently a Hyatt Diamond member and I am a fan of the brand. I'm realizing that I much prefer Hyatt Regency and higher (meaning Grand and Park). Hyatt Places are nice in terms of the actual room (and I think most of that has to do with them being relatively new), but my experience has been that the bed and breakfast are just not as great as a Hilton brand hotel at the same level. Basically if this is the price range I'm working with I'd rather stay at a Hilton Garden Inn vs a Hyatt Place. However, I'd rather a Grand Hyatt (or Hyatt Regency) than a mid range Hilton hotel. So for this location in particular, the lobby and entrance are welcoming and clean. The location is fine, seems safe although there isn't much to do nearby but hey there's a Starbucks across the street. There is a complimentary skillet breakfast every morning and it's pretty lackluster. The powdered eggs are not very good and the other offerings are just so-so. My king room was spacious, clean, and cool. My only issue was the shower grout looked dirty (or was moldy?) which was a bit unfortunate. What's up with lotion missing from the room?
