Note: I HAVE NOT STAYED HERE BUT JUST CANCELLED MY RESERVE DUE TO HIDDEN FEES Hi. We are moving by car from Oregon to Tempe, Arizona. As our apartment will not quite be ready, we are staying for 4 nights in a hotel. Our family includes a small dog. I called to make sure that they had us in a pet friendly room. They did. Thankfully, the woman was nice to let me know they have a per night pet fee, additional to the $25 per night pet fee. It's not shown anywhere on their website or Travelocity's. That's why I'm referring to it as hidden - I would have only found out about it from the desk upon, maybe check in or, definitely, check out. It's a $75 PER NIGHT fee. As we were staying 4 nights, it raised our rates from $400s to $800s for the stay. FOR A BEST WESTERN? Ridiculous! No clue if there are other hidden fees. Not sure why they would do this. If other guests are anything like me, this would make for an irate pet parent upon check out...
