This is one of the best shops that I've ever not been in. Ever. In fact were it not for Google, I'd still have no idea where it was. Ladybug is a florist that I've used for the sake of proximity. I don't know about you, but gone are my days of calling up the nearest florist and having them do the FTD ground work for delivery and all that. With internet searching and decent long distance calling plans, you can do everything you want directly. And if places have internet ordering as well, which Ladybug does through its website (http://www.ladybugflorist.com), even better. You don't need to leave your desk to send a bouquet to show that you're thinking of someone. Such is Ladybug.
I'm sure their store is delightful, I'm sure their merchandise is fantastic, but I've never been into their shop, and I've only once seen the fruits of their labour. Wanting to get my agent at Fusion Artists (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/fusion-artists-toronto) a thank-you bouquet for all their work and efforts, I found the closest florist, which happened to be Ladybug and put through an order. Apparently the flowers were nice as my agent is still booking me gigs. When I needed to send two separate sets of flowers to two separate funerals, I figured if the first order went so well, why fix that which ain't broken. It wasn't until the wake that I actually saw that the details of my order in terms of colour and arrangement were not only carried out to the letter, but looked gorgeous as well as befitting the occasion.
Ladybug is by far the best place that you never have to visit. At some point I'm sure I will. Question: Is it appropriate to send your florist a thank-you bouquet?
