More like a 2.5 but I'll round up. This salon is designed like any other nail joint around the corner from your house. I've been here a couple times now and have gotten the same nail technician twice, rose. Rose is a sweet woman but her work is less than average and she is easily distracted. I like to be in and out! An hour tops, but both times ran me a little more than 90 minutes. That's a stretch for a basic gel mani, but what pains me even more is that there is no precision in her work. My nails were filed unevenly on both occasions and were left with multiple air bubbles, and debris trapped under my paint job. Her work is not necessarily sloppy, just lacks a lot of attention to detail. Another pet peeve, when the gel polish isn't cleaned up and gets cured onto my skin. To top it off she filed off my polish and hit the nail bed. It started to burn and I was left with super thin nails; opening a can of red bull was scary. Again, Rose is very sweet and accommodating when it comes to sampling nail colors etc. when you're unsure, but it's not enough for me to want to come back. The search continues for the perfect nail tech. Help me yelp! Ps. Polish started lifting from my nails already, I won't be back to fix it. Will just find someone to redo my whole manicure.
