First and foremost, the food was fine. Good quality ingredients that were well-prepared. The reason for my rating is given the cost of the food, I really expected more. Toronto is spoiled with fantastic food, so there's really no reason for an expensive restaurant not to have excellent food. Our family of 7 adults (3 early 30's, 4 early 60's) went for our Christmas dinner and given the occasion ordered a lot of food. We shared nearly all the plates (which were generally rather small given their price point, but we managed to each get a small bite of most dishes). None of the dishes were great, but none were bad or ill-prepared. The ambience was okay, the music was a bit loud in a bad way (i.e. sound quality not great in a large space, lots of distortion) and it was a bit cold. I suppose this is a bit of a nit-picky review, but after spending a few hundred dollars on dinner, it could have been a lot better. Toronto has much more to offer at this price point, and I've definitely had superior meals at a fraction of the cost.
