Sometimes I know by Yelp Bros chuckle at my check ins, and for sure this was one of them. Yes, ladies & gentlemen, I took my first pole fitness class and I loved it! I'm terribly out of shape and just the warm up left me thinking "oh, crap... cardio" but it ended up being a success! The teacher (Sabrina) showed our class of 7 people (limited class size due to 8 available poles) the intros to interacting with the pole, general safety, a little footwork and two first moves. We got to giggle, practice, interact and surprisingly socialize/support each other in our attempts to no bruise ourselves, and I'm very excited to go back later this week. I initially got introduced to this business through a Groupon, and although it is not an inexpensive workout, it is in range to the current hot yoga trend and in more than a reasonable budget for someone to get into (plus student disounts)
