Do NOT purchase appliances here. We are about to become a family of four, and our old hand-me-down washer/dryer set was on its last legs. We went in to Lowe's on Higley and the 60, and the man who helped us was very negative about the set we wanted to order. It was an LG, he said that we should buy it if we wanted to have horrible customer service since their stuff is off of a "slow boat from China", and tried to sway us to buy a whirlpool set because it's made in America. I was not impressed or amused. We waited for two weeks for the set to be ordered and to arrive, and last Sunday two younger men showed up to install it. They couldn't get the hoses off and advised that we needed to replace all of the valves in our wall. Not true, the valves were slightly corroded, which my husband was able to fix after they left. We waited another week and two different men showed up today to install the set. Once it was in, they said the washer door was locked. They had to take it back out of the house to open it, and then informed my husband that the washer we were sent was "faulty", and that we should call the store to order another one. I called, was routed back to customer service three times, was told by the woman I spoke with that she had to find a working computer, put me back on hold then ended up taking down my phone number and said she would call me back. So now we have no washer and no idea what to do from here. So if this is "American" customer service, I'm proud I didn't listen to that racist salesman and instead ordered off the "slow boat to China", maybe they can help me since the entire staff at Lowe's has been totally incompetent from the start for this. I DO NOT recommend this Lowe's location, unless you want a complete runaround and high blood pressure.
UPDATE: I've just canceled the order and I'm going elsewhere. The woman I spoke with went to lunch and didn't pass along any info about this, and I can't wait any more on their "famous 'Murican customer service".
