I found this place while looking for a hospital in North York. It is a division of NYGH and according to the website, as long as your injury/situation is not life threatening, or extremely serious, they advise you to go to this location to alleviate wait times at the main hospital location. I decided to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. Set up similar to a walk in clinic but with full hospital facilities, I would gladly go here instead of a walk in clinic or emergency room.
There was 1 person in the waiting room when I arrived (mid-afternoon on a Thursday), and I was taken in within 5 minutes. In total, I was there for just over an hour and received a quick treatment, diagnosis & referral for my knee injury.
I would definitely recommend for minor injuries/illnesses that you think would need tests and answers right away.
