We started our car search near our home in Henderson, but the Nissan dealership down there wanted to obscure numbers, lie to our faces and in general tried to rip us off pretty hard. For our next test drive we drove to the opposite side of town to check out Planet Nissan. The salesman here was more professional, didn't jabber a lot of BS, didn't try to be cool. We told him what car we wanted, he went and got it, we test drove, we negotiated, the manager came out, we negotiated some more and it was over. We got as fair of a deal as you're going to get in this town. Like any new car buying experience, you still need to know what you are talking about before you show up and be ready to negotiate when you get here. When we had very in-depth Lease questions for the finance guy during the signing process, he got his manager who brought in the accounting paperwork for our Lease to break down every single number and where it came from. From what I can tell, they gave us full disclosure and didn't try to hide anything. Once they realized we were serious and understood leases, they got serious too. My disappointments were some small, light scratches near the wheel well that the salesman thinks were caused by the car wash guys brushing the hose against the car. You have to really stare at it to see them. He set up a service appointment for a few days from now to get those buffed out. After that, I'll live the next three years with our car and if I don't hate Nissan by the end of the lease, I'll consider this car buying experience a success!
