This will be a final update. This complex went from a 5 star to a 1 star. BRAD IS AMAZING AND HE GETS 5 STARS. But this complex needs to have a 1 star on Yelp. Sept 1st- Rent was due. They charged me a full months rent when it was supposed to be just until the 18th wich is move out day. I tried to get a refund for the second half of the month, but they said they cant refund it until i turn in the keys. VERY FISHY. But is accepted it. Come 2 days before move out, I called to set up a final walk through and spoke to Malosh on the phone. He specifically said "you must be there for the walk through if you are on the lease." I set up the walk through for Tuesday the 19th since i had to work till 5pm *their head maintenance can only do walk through till 3pm apparently. Very accommodating right?! NOT. I called the front office to let them know i could not make the walk through and id need to reschedule. Well, to my surprise, Aubrey or Audrey..whatever her name is, told me that i did not need to be at the walk through and that they already completed it without me. This was a huge shock to me because i was told i needed to be there. I WANTED TO BE THERE SO I CAN MAKE SURE THAT THERE WOULD BE NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR MOVE OUT. She called me telling me that i would only owe about $100 (2 blinds and paint for the walls). She then called me a couple hours later telling me that she "forgot to tell me about the carpet charges". She said that they needed to replace all the carpeting and would cost around $900. She said that she took the $900 from the over payment they charged me for the rent and took it from my $700 security deposit. She said that they had a pet cleaning fee and etc.( I NEVER HAD A DOG IN THE APT). I had one room mate who smoked and burned incense in HIS room and thats it. It was a 3 bedroom. 1 bedroom was never used because it was a spare, my bedroom was always kept in great condition and the carpet did not need to be replaced in the spare nor my (master) bedroom. They should only have charged me for the room mats bed room!! I told her she must refund me that rent that was overpaid and she said she WILL NOT do so and that they paid the bill for the carpet cleaning. She would not even listen to me and told me to dispute it with the cleaning agency. She did not even care to listen to what i had to say when i was trying to explain to her that one bedroom was not even used...EVER. She hung up on me as well. This place and the front desk staff as far as MALOSH, GROVER, ABREY/AUDREY are really lacking the customer service skills needed. I have reached out to corporate for formal complaints yet again. NEVER thought I would regret renewing with this place.
