The cons: The place has zero personality inside, there is no decor. The surrounding area isn't the greatest and I think a lively interior and some Zydeco could make all the difference.
The young woman at the counter, as someone else said - was absolutely put out that she had to work, at her job, where she works.
The pros: Chicken is decent. I found this on groupon, so I wasn't too disappointed that it wasn't The Best Chicken I've Ever Had In My Life. Even without groupon the price is affordable and the portions are good. The sides are yummy too. (Mac n cheese and sweet potato pie are what I had.) The groupon I bought came with two visits, so I'll go back a second time. But I can't say I'd go out of my way to return after that.
