I've been here twice, and although I would rather keep this place a "hidden gem" it's high time that I spread the good word about The Grist House Brewing Company. The beer is tops- the "Wheatin' for the Weekend" is a perfect, light summer beer. My husband is a big fan of their brown ale "Gristly Bear Brown". There is a nice parking lot, picnic tables, deck seating and a few tables near the bar (and T.V.). The bar tenders are friendly and they have a regular rotation of visiting food trucks. There is a great pizza spot (Anthony's) a short walk away that you can call for pickup or delivery. This is a great spot to grab some friends, a board game, some snacks and even the pups and head over to for an evening of fun. Plan a visit, you won't be disappointed. Update : In the summer, this place is bike and dog friendly. Cruise on in, and pack your pooch! Also a bonus : Leona's ice cream sandwiches. Yum!
