If I could give this 6 stars I would!
Above all else, when I dine in at a restaurant I am looking for good service. The staff at Mbar exceeded my expectations by a landslide. The host this afternoon was a gentleman named Frank who was always smiling, very welcoming, and just overall seemed happy to have us in the restaurant. I immediately felt at home and was happy we chose Mbar for lunch. He even insisted we call him Grandpa Frank like are you serious? Can you get anymore welcoming than that? I love that guy!
Our server was Aj and he was wonderful. He was very attentive to my friend's celiac disease and reassured us several times of the food products and made sure there was no cross contamination between ingredients. He was also very knowledgeable on the rest of the menu and made sure we were always attended to, never left us waiting and always anticipated what we needed before we had to ask.
The food selection is limited compared to some, but all very tasty. You're not overwhelmed looking at the menu with the amount of choices they have and you have a good selection of panini's, salads, and sandwiches. We're probably going to make Mbar a regular thing after this more than pleasant lunch experience!
