Although I spend a lot of time on King Street, I never knew Barhop existed until last weekend. Having had dinner at Black Hoof, I wanted a quick beer on the way home and spotted this place on Yelp. I'm glad I did!
It was pretty busy when I arrived (8pm on a Friday) but we were seated right away and our server took our order. The beer list is extensive and includes a lot of craft beers which I appreciate, although I'm no beer expert if I'm honest.
While I drank my beer, I noticed the plates of food making their way to the various tables. Everything looked great! Although I had just eaten, I was almost going to order something just to try, but I held back. Maybe next time.
Reading the other reviews, it seems that Barhop is a bit of a hidden gem, and I'm glad I found it. I look forward to returning for dinner very soon.
