DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM ADVANTAGE It's worth it to pay more at the other rental car agencies than deal with all of this. Customer sales person did not clearly explain the deal to upgrade and did not disclose that they would hold a deposit on my debit card. Fine, that was cleared up when I asked about it. Customer rep says "I didn't disclose that to you. I'm sorry." Fine. But when I return home, the upgrade deal was not really a deal (Why would I pay more for the upgrade than the actual rate itself?). When I get home to check my account, I see they did not just hold the deposit amount, but they charged me over $500 bux for a 4 day rental. I am disputing with my bank right now. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me give no stars at all. Advantage uses predatory practices and is a lot different than the other rental car companies I have dealt with in the past. Go for Alamo or Budget, but leave Advantage alone.
