I am by no means a connoisseur, but even the legit ones will claim that Soma is one of the best.
This place is the mecca for great chocolate in the city. With two gorgeous store fronts located in Toronto, we are pretty fortunate to have such an acclaimed chocolate maker in our backyard.
Falling in somewhere between LCBO runs, and trips to the grocery store, this place is a standard pit stop for our household. In the summer, you can catch us eating their amazing gelato ( roasted almond--amazzzeballs!), and drinking their godly Mayan Hot Chocolate in the Winter. From their lemon and orange chocolate peels, to their specialty products like the birch branch and amazing truffles, everything is made with the finest ingredients, and it definitely shows.
Christmas season can get very busy, but great chocolate is fantastic anytime of year.
