I love this place. I love Joanna.
I happened across this place because I used to live on the west side of Madison. I happened across Joanna because I needed a haircut immediately, and she was available. Score! I knew Joanna was boss when I told her I wanted a fringe bang, and she cut me the most amazing fringe bang I could ask for. Side note: if a hairdresser can cut you bangs well, you should trust them to cut anything well. And thus began my loyalty to Joanna and RZ & Company.
First of all, this salon is huge! Every time I go there I am impressed with the square footage and the number of staff they have on hand at all times. I think I have never seen less than 3 receptionists at the front desk when I walk in. This is awesome because you never have to wait to be checked in or out.
They have a make-up area, at least 2 spa treatment rooms for massage, facials, etc., a nail area and many, many hairdressing stations, if that is even the correct term. It is a well run operation! Needless to say I don't live on the west side anymore, but I refuse to go anywhere else for haircuts. Now that's loyalty :)
