Hire Katsu and Ebi Fry Katsu Dinner ($16): Pork Tenderloin Katsu and Black Tiger Shrimp Katsu with rice, cabbage, Japanese pickles, and miso soup. A traditional Katsu meal with all the fixings. There are sesame seeds that you can grind and add to your dish and/or sauce. Katsu sauce is also available at the table. The best thing about their Katsu is that it's not greasy. It helps that it sits on a mini rack elevated on the plate. The pork was tender and the shrimp was plump and scrumptious. All around fantastic Katsu! I would have liked more and/or different pickled vegetables since my meal came with three pickled garlic bulbs. Katsu Donburi ($11): Pork Loin Katsu rice bowl with fried egg and dashi. Delicious!! I haven't had very many Donburi, but I imagine as long as the rice, toppings, and dashi broth is good, you're set. Again, great Katsu and the dashi was flavorful. I loved the addition of sunny side-up egg! Arabiki Sausage ($5): Sautéed Japanese sausages. Great flavor and easy to eat. Accompanied by hot mustard. Wonderful spot for all your Katsu needs. Make sure to check out the Specials on the wall. We're definitely heading back to try their other dishes!
