First of all, this is by far the best coffee place in Cleveland. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't like good coffee. This may not be the best coffee I've EVER had, but it's very much closing in on the Rituals and Blue Bottles of this world. The people there really care about coffee roasting, brewing methods, and general coffee geekiness, but without a hint of snobbery, which seems hard to do based on my experiences on the coasts. Every barista (and there are a lot of them) is really nice, and doesn't offer unsolicited advice about what notes are in your coffee. And it's a nice shop, with the roasting machines just behind the counter. The only issue I have is that there's nowhere to sit unless it's nice outside, and that for such a good coffee shop, they carry mediocre pastries.
