Just tried to schedule an appointment for my teenage son to be seen for basic teenage acne. We are cash pay patients and the cost for an initial visit likely to take all of 10-15 minutes was quoted to me as $190. Seriously? For cash pay patient that the office doesn't have to do anything put swipe a card to receive payment?? No insurance paperwork or phone calls to make etc...wow. My Ob/Gyn in contrast charges cash pay patients around $100 for annual exam. Will be shopping around.
