The bouncer inspected our bags when we walked in. I've never seen this happen at a pub, let alone a Fox and Fiddle. He even opened and smelled my diet coke bottle. Then they found an empty bottle of alcohol in my friend's bag that she forgot to throw out and they wouldn't let her in. She wasn't intoxicated at all. We were paying $500+ to have an event there.
I recommend you save your money and go elsewhere. The bouncer was extremely disrespectful and swore at me.
What kind of pub inspects your bags at the door in the first place anyway? And treat customers so disrespectfully.
