Nestled on the 15th floor of the Ritz, you would think this was the crème de la crème. To their defense, I went on a weekday with some friends. First of all, the door was locked... I would think that would only happen when it's at capacity, but I had to get someone from the inside to open the door to let me in, weird right? The decor is everything you think the Ritz should be... and the drink menu is expansive and impressive, but you're going to shell out big bucks. The service was abysmal, our drinks were empty half of the time and we stayed for a couple hours. That was the disappointing piece of the whole endeavor. Go if: 1) You're getting a (singular) drink before you go someplace else 2) are on an expense account. The only redeeming quality of the whole thing was that the mixed drinks were above average for Charlotte.
