Actually the work that Bruce's does is excellent, from appointment thru cleanup. They are NOT inexpensive! The problem in the A/C repair industry is that the parts, cost wise, are now very transparent! Today's invoice was over $700.00 to replace a Mother Board and Fan Motor. The fan, a Mars unit is $82.00 delivered on Amazon Prime. Bruce's charged $347.88 for the exact same part. In fairness, the labor costs of $288.00 for four hours seemed reasonable and Hector completed the work in a timely fashion. As a retired Business School Professor, I would recommend a pricing strategy much different than 400 plus % on parts! One way or the other all of these guys have a business impervious to consumer transparency. Sounds like Obamacare!
