First time Greyhound rider here. --- Let's get that out of the wayI bought a bus ticket from LA to Phoenix in order to visit some friends for a few days from Dec. 26-28. I thought that it was a big mistake after reading the mostly 1 and 2-star reviews of previously dissatisfied patrons. So the time came around [quick] for my return trip to Los Angeles and I was very reluctant to expect major delays and unprofessional staff, as previous patrons had experienced. Much to my surprise, I experienced neither of the two. The bus was perfectly on time and the staff was very helpful. They must have been cheery due to the holidays. I even had my own seat on the bus!! The driver was very professional and hell-bent on sticking to the time schedule, which I liked a lot. I'd say my experience on the LA Greyhound was good enough to try again. I'd rate 5-stars but I don't think the experience was perfect.
