So my girlfriend and I went to Modavie, a place we've heard such great things about, for our second anniversary dinner. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the jazz music that was playing. The tables were a little crowded (we were sitting maybe a few inches from the next table) but we weren't too uncomfortable. Our server was attentive and spoke with both me and my girlfriend in English and French respectively.
We started our meal with two glasses of Sancerre and a nice portion of calamari with two delicious sauces. Tres bonne! Next, we each had a nice pasta. Her the ravioli with goat cheese, and I had some sort of spicy sausage pasta. Both were incredible! We shared a nice molten chocolate with vanilla ice cream dessert. From the moment we sat down until we left, we had a nice experience. I only rated it a 4 instead of 5 because we didn't say to each other "Wow, we NEED to come back!" but in truth we had a great time, delicious meal, and we probably will be back sometime. :)
