Myself and two friends went to Vivo for the first time on a Friday night. There were two large parties waiting before us (8 & 6) so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes. It was a super cute, trendy restaurant. It'd be more suitable in Tremont or Ohio City. Once seated our server was pretty attentive. One friend ordered a Blue Moon and he told us there was only one more left so he was holding it for him. While I felt it was pathetic they didn't have more in stock given that it was 7pm on a Friday, I appreciated his honesty. One friend had the tilapia which he enjoyed. I had the gnocchi rossa which was very tasty. Our other friend had the salmon salad which the menu listed as having arugula but she said it was just a spring mix but still good. I love that the kitchen is out in the open and created a nice ambiance. The hostess was awesome. I run a social organization and I have already made plans to bring back a large group to the restaurant and she was great to deal with. I look forward to returning!
