I would have given this gym a zero star review, but unfortunately that wasn't an option.
Both my husband and I joined this gym in 2013 when we moved to the area. Initially we enjoyed working out at the gym as it was a good neighbourhood option ... however, the service and facilities have subsequently deteriorated significantly.
1. It is dirty
People don't spray down they equipment after they use it. There are multiple occasions where we've found sweat stains on the equipment. The stretching mats are often wet.
2. It is a health hazard
There is a constant sewage smell in the bathroom/change room due to the sewage backup and overflow from the malfunctioning toilets.
3. Their equipment is always broken or under repair
In the 2 + years that we've been there, something is always broken (i.e., water fountain, shower, toilet, equipment). It often takes months and multiple requests for the management to even consider fixing it.
4. They steal your money!
My husband and I used to get personal training sessions at the gym. We were very happy with one of the trainers so much so that we renewed with him 3 times. Unfortunately after my husband bought the last package, the specific trainer left the company and Systems refused to refund us the money. The morale amongst the training staff there is super low to the point that most of the trainers have left. This has left us with more than 70 sessions and no trainer!
Moral of the story - use at your own risk !
