I'm always reading about the nature activities here so I had to see for myself. Nice nature center with a small store of clothing items, knick knacks, etc. Had artwork on the walls from a show going on. Nice bathrooms. A class was in a side room.
Lots of trails--hundreds of acres--flat or slight inclines. On a warm winter day hiking boots were ideal for the wet trails. Ponds, Lookout stands, an occasional bench. Out on a trail is a station to feed birds from your hands. There is a large parking lot, and a shelter house with tables. Most people had dogs with them. Very nice park.
